There are many stereotypes about rabbits. Mostly they are perceived as stupid cowardly rodents, but some individuals argue that this is not always the case.
In Azovo in the Omsk region, there was one touching and a little strange story. Its main character was, as you might guess, a large rabbit with a white tail, the most common in appearance, but it only seems that way.
He adopted three puppies and became a real caring father for them. And this is how it was.
This eared comrade turned out to be a very wayward beast, he fled from his owner, so much so that no one could find him. After that, he decided to live an independent free life and dug a hole near the house of Margarita Startseva.
Soon the woman noticed that the rabbit is not alone. He was looking after three pups that were left orphaned after the death of their mother.
The rabbit gave them food, he watched over them all the time. And then he did not let them crawl out of the mink – he ran around them like a madman and pushed them with his nose, did not let the cats go. He licked them to keep them warm.
If not for him, they would not have survived. It was cold there, the temperature dropped to –25 ° С.
The rabbit took care of the puppies as if they were his own children: he warmed them up, washed them and protected them from cats.
Margarita posted announcements throughout the village and disseminated information about the search for owners for all animals on the network.
The girls have already been taken into families, and an owner has been found for the rabbit, but he is not yet taken away so that the last puppy does not die without him.
