Mother’s love is irreplaceable. In the world of animals, mothers have the most important role – giving generations and caring for them.
Most of the moms don’t let their newborns starve, they abandon their babies very seldom.
That’s why when a young animal’s mother dies, it’s a tragedy. With no mother to care for them, these animals stay neglected, and only humans can help them stay alive.
But in this story, we witness a rare thing, an exception.
It is well known that male orangutans are not involved in their children’s parenting. But sometimes life makes them do the role of a mother.
A young orangutan has recently lost her mother. It seemed that the father won’t take care of the newborn girl. But Berani turned out to be the best dad.
Cerah is so lucky to have Berani beside her. This orangutan cares for his baby the same way her mama would do. He cuddles her, comforts the baby girl and snuggles her when she sleeps.
Unfortunately, Cerah’s mother passed away very unexpectedly, at the age of 32. The Denver Zoo immediately was prepared to take care of the baby Cerah but her daddy surprised the workers with his special dedication to parenting. Cerah is a lucky girl!
It turns out that Berani has been a good father to another orangutan named Hasty. Although Hasty wasn’t the biological daughter of Berani, the male orangutan has always taken care of the girl as his own.
This very kind story makes us believe in the beauty of parenting.
