Madeline Humphis, originally from Oklahoma, was born with a peculiarity: in early childhood, he had a “cleft lip” and heterochromia – an anomaly due to which a person’s eyes differ in color.
The irregular shape of the lips was corrected through operations, but it was impossible to influence the color of the eyes. Such an unusual appearance of the boy attracted the attention of his peers, who laughed at him.
Madeline was upset about this and couldn’t make friends.
One day, the boy’s mother accidentally stumbled on the Internet on a photo of a cat that had a similar anomaly in eye color and a problem with a lip. The animal at that moment was with the animal protection volunteers.
Seeing the cat, the woman immediately realized that she was born to become the friend of her son, and decided to shelter the four-legged beauty.
After the appearance of the new pet in the house, Madeline no longer feels lost in society and alone. The cat received the beautiful name Luna.
