I can’t understand how some people adopt dogs if they are eventually abandoning them or even worse making them suffer. How mankind can answer that way to the most loyal animal in the world?
On the contrary, there are also plenty of people who take care of neglected animals and give them second chance.
This is what happened a few weeks ago when kind people found a dog that was in a very bad condition – with mouth taped shut and legs taped together.
This dog – Petal was unrecognizable and very thin. She was all dehydrated and weak.
There were only small chances to save the dog. Soon the dog was taken to East Orlando Animal Hospital and examined by vets.
They discovered that Petal was not only in a bad shape but also had a cataract and other eye infections. The poor dog couldn’t see and hear anything.
Doctors were afraid to even cleanse and bath her. Although the dog wanted to eat, she was too starved, and eating much might cause undesirable results.
At first, the fragile dog couldn’t sit and walk by herself. But day by day she started making steps. This is when the doctors became hopeful to continue struggling for her life.
Now Petal is doing well, she is absolutely another dog after taking a bath and getting a stylish makeover!
She is continuing her recovery, eating and having much more happy days than ever!
