Louie was gone and his human parents were worried about the 12 years old shepherd dog. Since he was a couple of months old, The boy has spent his life with Marolyn Diver’s family. He was an energetic pup and loved to walk around the big farm.
Things changed when the dog started to grow up. Now the senior dog’s favorite thing is hanging around the house. He rarely goes out to explore the neighborhood.
But one day the dog unexpectedly was missing. Louie’s family was concerned and had no clue where to look for the pet. Thankfully, in the afternoon the dog walked home.
It was strange to see a note hanging around his neck. The family was concerned about Louie because he looked too tired and powerless. But after reading the handwritten note they got calm.
The owners were so proud to learn that their companion is a hero. “Louie is the hero of the day,” the note said. “He led me to Maddy in distress stuck under a branch pile. Cheers, Rob.”
Maddy is the doggie of Rob, another farmer in the neighborhood. After reading the note Louie’s parents phoned the man to know what happened.
The man told that his dog also had been missing for hours. It was Louie that led him to Maggie and helped to dig out the stuck dog. After the rescue mission both the dogs went to drink water.
Yet, now Louie was weak and refused to eat. After a day Rob and Maggie came for a visit to see Louie. Somehow the dog was doing well that day.
Thankfully, the smart boy is all healthy and enjoys his peaceful life next to his mom and dad!
