A man took two pit bulls from the shelter with a difficult fate that had been declined by the previous owners.
Two dogs – Ellabelle and Ladybug – have experienced a lot in their lives. Owners left the pit bulls, but fate brought them together in one shelter.
Abandoned and downtrodden, they hoped to find a loving home sometime.
When Robert McGowan appeared on the threshold of the shelter, a miracle happened in the lives of the fellows. The man had once looked for a pet, but having learned the history of these pit bulls, he decided that he would not leave home without them.
Since then, they have been together every day – and the pets are incredibly grateful to their dad.
Recently they have shown their dedication in the most amazing way. They saved Robert’s life.
Last week, a man was repairing his car in the garage when suddenly four hooligans came into the garage.
One of them hit Rοbert in the eye, and he fell off the chair. “They demanded the keys from the car, and I said that they were home,” the man says.
When one of the intruders went into the house, Robert’s faithful dog was waiting for him outside the door. The dogs ran outside and started barking loudly, chasing the strangers away.
The frightened hooligans immediately ran away from the angry dogs.
“My girls ran into the garage and began to defend me,” the owner recalls.
Ellabelle and Ladybug acted like real heroines – thanks to them, the owner got off with a black eye and stayed with the car.
