Atlanta reporter BJ Nemez returned from a business trip the other day. Driving through Alabama, he decided to stop at one of the small snack spots along the road and buy soda from a machine. It was late, there was no one around, and the place was not very busy.
Suddenly approaching the emergency machine, the man saw that two spotted paws were sticking out from behind him!
“I realized that if I don’t take her now, then she won’t have another chance,” says BJ. “Perhaps it was not by chance that I ended up at that time in such a remote place without a single soul around …”
The reporter bought cookies and fed them to the dog. He ate willingly, but all the time did not take his eyes off the person, as if weighing – can he be trusted?
After that, Nemez went to the car, took a towel from his suitcase and wrapped it around the dog. The stray animal was moved to the back seat, where he fell asleep very quickly.
In the clinic, the veterinarian looked at the dog and determined that her age was about 4 years old. It is unlikely that she didn’t live all this time on the street since her health was quite tolerable.
Most likely, she was brought and abandoned away from people about a year ago.
She has already been spayed, and the smart girl has even learned to bang a plastic cone on a shelf, begging for food.)
The baby is almost used to the leash and is now starting to organize the process of correcting personal needs on a schedule.
The dog which BJ Nemez named Soda, was adopted by one of many kind families.
