In the hard periods of our life dogs are always ready to comfort and support us. But not all people have dogs.

It’s not a new thing that dogs can be employed. They work in police and also with firefighter organizations, comforting traumatized people.

But seeing dogs in funerals as employees is something new.

We know how devasting and hurting can be the loss of a loved one. People are in desire of comfort and love. Some of them find it in their relatives and close friends and some of them stay all alone.

This is why a funeral home hired an employee – Lilo, 3 years old Labrador, specially trained to comfort people in funerals.

The dog lately started working with a funeral home in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. People working with her say that Labrador is already having a big, positive influence on heartbroken people.

She actually has the ability to warm sad people in the words of the director of the funeral home.

She was one of the eight litter of puppies that was specially trained as a comfort dog.

Weeks ago Lilo was taken to a funeral of a 95 years old woman. She made a huge work making it easy for the children to be loosened up in the funerals.

Lilo has her own area at the workplace, her own toys and bed. She is absolutely an adorable Labrador Retriever!
