An obstetrician from Brooklyn noticed a small kitten with an injured paw. The guy could not look indifferently at how the baby was lame, so he decided to help her.
He bought a fish and borrowed a cat trap from a local rescue group. At half past three in the night, the stray baby finally fell into the trap. She simply could not resist the tempting smells of food, because she was very hungry.
As soon as the animal was in the hands of the guy, he took her to the vet. The condition of the injured paw had worsened by that time, as necrosis had begun. The area around the wound was cleaned, the larvae removed, and the wound itself was washed many times.
Luckily, the paw was not broken. To fight the fever, the baby was prescribed antibiotic injections and painkillers.
While the purr was in treatment, all wounds were sterile and cleaned every 12 hours. To the delight of the doctors, they began to drag on.
The rescued baby was named Kirby. In the beginning, she was very shy and trembled with fear when people approached her. But every day the purr got better and better. The little girl felt that she was no longer in danger.
Will is sure that the best home will soon be found for the affectionate cat. He is surprised by the incredible transformation of a frightened kitten into an affectionate and self-confident kitty!
We hope that life has reserved only happy days for this charming girl!
