Nan Hauser is over sixty years old and has devoted half of her life to researching cetaceans in their natural habitat. One day, when the woman was studying the behavior of whales in the Pacific, she sank underwater.
At this time, her colleagues watched the progress of the operation through drones flying over the ocean.
The biologist, who had seen a lot during her career, suddenly felt intense fear when she saw a giant whale nearby, which was rapidly and inexorably approaching her. When faced with such a large animal, the woman had no chance to survive.

But the whale did not want to kill the woman. Having swum up to her, he tried with all his might to push her out of the water: first with the help of his huge fin, then gently nudging her with his nose.

And then the whale, making a little more effort, carefully pushed her out from under the water. Fortunately, there were people nearby who could help Nan quickly.
Recalling the details of this terrible and at the same time happy incident, the experts came to the conclusion that the main threat to the diver was not at all the whales peacefully swimming in the ocean.
While Nan was distracted by the humpback, sharks swam up to her – creatures much more dangerous. Meeting with him cost the lives of more than one scuba diver.
The woman’s colleagues were in despair and stopped the recording: they did not want to watch the scene of Nan’s brutal murder. Only a whale that came to the aid of the woman helped her avoid a terrible fate.
