Lots of stray cats and dogs suffer natural disasters. Some of them survive but some of them, unfortunately, pass away.
This little kitten would also die if a kind road worker didn’t decide to save her life.
The incident happened in Istanbul, Turkey, where a road worker named Metin Keskin rescued a drowning kitten with mouth-to-mouth resuscitation.
The man and his co-workers were clearing floodwaters when they accidentally saw a tiny creature being swept away due to stormy rains.
Keskin instantly rushed to pick her up. Sadly, the kitty was moveless and maybe even lifeless.
But the man didn’t give up. He refused to abandon her and in the middle of the street he knelt down to try mouth-to-mouth resuscitation.
Then he made a chest compression and massaged the small body so that the water would get out of her lungs.
After some strained minutes, the cute baby expelled the water out of her mouth and meowed. The road workers were excited and cheerful about the success.
Then the hero took the baby girl to a vet hospital. The kitten was given all the care she needed. But it was not the end of the story.
Keskin couldn’t help adopting the rescue kitty. He gave the baby a forever home and treats her as if the cat is her daughter.
What a beautiful story. Thank you, Mr. Keskin, for your love and care.
