The cat really claimed the title of the most unfortunate animal in the shelter. He used to have an owner, but he gave the pet to a shelter after he started having health problems. The man was unable to pay for Oti’s treatment, so he turned him over to the Baltimore Cat Rescue Association.
In the clinic, the cat was operated on, removing both ears – because of the massive cysts, the doctors could not leave even a couple of centimeters of cartilage … After that, the cat remained completely deaf.
In the orphanage, no one looked in his direction – he seemed to everyone to be a freak. But then, when Molly took him in her arms, he just melted into the arms of the girl, not believing his luck!
After all, the girl was the only one in several years who wanted to accept Oti. The cat turned out to be a very caring pet. He watches Molly’s every move, guards her, purrs soothing songs.
“He is the only one who can calm me down and he is the best thing that has ever happened to me!” the girl says.
