Giraffes started dancing under the rain, enjoying the freshness of the wet weather

The Reid Park Zoo has been operating in Tucson, Arizona since the 1960s. Four “geographic” zones have been created for its inhabitants, such as Asian or African.

There are no polar animals here, but all conditions have been created for the heat-loving ones. The giraffes on display at the zoo are represented by the Kenyan variant – the reticulated giraffe.

It belongs to endangered species: no more than 9000 individuals remain in the wild. These are absolutely beautiful and wonderful species.

Compared to other varieties of giraffes, the reticulated pattern is the most geometric: large polygonal spots are clearly outlined by a network of pure white lines.

Recently, after a string of hot days, it rained in Tucson. Representatives of the park explain that during a thunderstorm, giraffes, like many other animals, are sent to an indoor aviary for safety, but in this case, the weather has pleased with light summer rain.

The joy of the giraffes was expressed in the dance: they began to jump and circle around their platform, amusingly lifting their legs.

The zoo has webcams that allow you to admire its wards from anywhere in the world. There is also a camera above the territory given to the giraffes.

The footage went viral, showing how positive giraffes are.
