The 45-year-old woman accidentally knew, that she was expecting twin babies with Down Syndrome.

Julie McConnel, who had already four kids, was not ready for such news.

She was incredibly disappointed.

She was anxious, that together with her partner, they couldn’t take care of the babies properly.

Moreover, she even thought about putting them for adoption.

However, the Nampa woman could pull herself together and stand back from her intention.

Luckily, her two wonderful sons, Charlie and Milo, came to this world making her the happiest mom on Earth.

They became her source of smile and happiness, her life motivation.

McConnel was so excited, that she decided to encourage other people to put up with the chromosome disorder and life fully.

She started to share their story and photos of her twins more often.

With her example, she demonstrated other moms not to be afraid to bring up a kid with the syndrome.

The woman shares the memories, when knowing about the babies’ disorder, the parents intended to take them for adoption.

And, luckily only at her six months, she decided to keep the twins.

She describes their first meeting as something of a miracle!

As she confesses, “my heart ran out of my chest sawing them for the first time”.
