Fox was found in a trap and rescued! Now she considers herself a pet: she eats dry food, walks with a leash and sleeps in a basket

The story of this fox began rather sadly: the wild animal was trapped, entangled in the ropes, which hurt him very badly.

Even if the fox managed to get out of the numerous knots, the wounds that remained on her body would still not heal on their own …

By the will of a simple case, the staff of the Wildlife Sanctuary found the fox. Of course, they took the wounded animal to their place to try to help her. In the end, they managed to cure her, but the story of the animal did not end there!

Everything happened in Warwickshire (UK). Fortunately, there is a very good rehabilitation center in which the fox could fully recover from severe injuries, although this would take a long time.

As expected by the doctors, the recovery took more than one month. Therefore, now that their ward was completely cured, they could no longer release her into the wild, no matter how much they wanted to do this …

The thing is that during the time spent with people; the fox became too domesticated and would certainly not have been able to survive in its native wildlife.

But a man named Jeff Greucock, who learned this story, did not like this alignment at all, in which the fox would be left without an owner. He decided to take her for himself!

The fox, who was named Roxy, was madly delighted with the new house and, to the surprise of everyone, began to behave like the most ordinary domestic dog!

Pet made friends with the rest of the animals in the house, including dogs, and began to have fun with them.

Roxy loves to eat dog food (instead of raw meat), and she also sleeps in her favorite basket and often walks on a leash with Jeff’s daughter, 19-year-old Rosie.

Roxy has a favorite home and good friends! What else is needed for happiness? This vixen seems to be really enjoying her new life!

Do you think it would be better for her in the wild or, nevertheless, together with people?

I think she should be where she is happy. Sounds like she is too imprinted to be released into the wild. She would not survive.
