14 years is a lot or a little?
This story is about two friends. In 2004, a hurricane hit the coast of Florida, causing a lot of trouble. The hurricane did not bypass the house of Perry Martin.
The man had to leave the house in a hurry, and because of the disaster, the man lost his cat named Thomas Jr., whom the owner affectionately called T-2.
Perry searched everywhere, but he couldn’t find his four-year-old cat anywhere. The man was very broken, he searched for a long time and called the cat, asking if any of the neighbors saw the animal.
Perry sat and waited for a long time, hoping that the cat would return. Time passed, but nothing changed. The man had already mentally resigned himself to the loss and suspected that he had most likely died.
But just recently, the phone rang at Perry’s house. The veterinarian from the clinic called, who once installed a chip on the cat. The call greatly surprised the man, as the doctor told the amazing news.
It turns out that T-2 was found and is now in a shelter; the cat was checked for a chip, and indeed it turned out to be T-2.
Perry was shocked by this news, he believed that some kind of mistake had come out. But there was no mistake, it really was the cat that disappeared during a hurricane. After all, neither more nor less than 14 years have passed since the hurricane.
To say that the man and the cat were surprised to see each other again is an understatement. The cat was very glad to see his beloved owner again. It seemed they never parted.
The owner says that the cat recognized him and is very glad to meet him; the cat follows his owner everywhere, constantly purrs. The cat is happy that he finally returned home!
During the absence, the cat lost some weight and became less active, but the owner believes that the cat will soon return to its former life.
