10 years ago, F. Linderman rescued a small tabby kitten, which he named Tiger.
When Tiger grew up, he began to experience especially close and tender feelings for Linderman’s father.
Linderman recently published a post on Reddit with photos of his dad and the cat, writing Tiger comes to his father’s arms every morning to lie on his lap and cuddle.
Linderman’s father works as a contractor and leaves every morning at 8 o’clock for work. Cat Tiger comes to his knees at about 7.30. He lies, basks and purrs loudly.
“If for some reason Tiger fails to lie on his dad’s lap, the cat will walk around upset all day,” Linderman writes.
When Linderman’s dad comes home for his lunch break, the cat runs to him again and jumps on his lap and lies there. The man will never throw the cat off his lap until he leaves, even if he has something urgent at work.
“My dad then just tells them he can’t get up because Tiger the cat is sleeping on him.”
They are inseparable from each other.
The old man even built a special enclosure for Tiger that goes across the veranda so that the cat can leave the house and breathe fresh air. ”Tiger is a very spoiled and privileged cat. If my dad didn’t drive to work, he would sit and cuddle with the cat all day.”
