Every morning, at one of the Israeli railway stations, passengers are welcomed by a fluffy ticket checker – a stray cat. Without emotion – do not pass by!
In the Israeli town of Petah Tikva near Tel Aviv, locals captured an unusual sight. The street cat settled at the local station.
No one is going to drive away the fluffy ticket controller, and passengers are happy to see her every day, and even stroke this cute creature on the way to work. The station cat was named Shawarma.
For her presence at the station, the cat literally became the sweetest attribute.
Both staff and passengers are accustomed to Shawarma, and love her in their own way: “One day I was returning from work,” says one local resident. – And I saw a cat lying on the turnstile. It was very nice. She made me smile.”
Usually, Shawarma lies here – in her favorite place, on the turnstile, checking every passing passenger. When someone posted a video and photo of the cat online, it quickly gained popularity, becoming a star not only on a local scale!
Just look how steady Shawarma is! She is used to human presence and can’t help but guard the station with its people.
