One of the most fantastic birds in New Guinea is the flame bowerbird with a crimson and vibrant orange plumage.
Its head has a beautiful crimson tone. The body and belly are orange. However, its tail is darker. The unique look makes the bird very special.
Some think that the shades of this species look like the sunset. The eyes of the bowerbird are hypnotic, having a yellow color.
These beauties are not spread in numerous areas. They live mainly in rainforests.
Flame bowerbirds eat insects and fruit. In fact, it’s interesting that in the breeding time males construct complex habitations to attract females. Females choose their partner by the habitation they liked the most.
Females build soft nests before laying eggs. They hatch the eggs for 18-25 days.
Are you pleased with these amazing birds? Aren’t they cute and adorable?
They remind me of the personage of the computer game ”Angry Birds.”
