Once, the crew of a fishing boat noticed a wet and shivering creature from merely worn and melted ice cube in the Arctic.
They immediately approached to rescue it.
As they thought it might be a sea walrus in that cold waters.
However, they couldn’t imagine, that they might occur such an animal there.
For them, it’s a common thing to go for fishing with boats off the Arctic coasts.
They boat to Labrador Peninsula to fish local crabs and other seafoods.
But, what they saw, was absolutely stunning!
One of the sailors told, that they were about 7 km far from the shore, when they spotted an animal on the ice cube.
They found out, that it was a polar fox.
The poor creature was soaked to the skin and frozen.
Besides, seagulls were soaring over him, trying to attack.
The men, firstly tried to pick him up with their fingers. But, the frightened animal didn’t allow them to come up him.
Then they had to break the ice cube with the boat stick.
Only, after he dropped into the water, the men could take out from the sea with a fishing net.
They fed him and let him have a rest.
Then, it seemed the cute fox liked the men: as if he was grateful for being rescued.
So, luckily the fox was active and quite healthy after all, and the kind men took and left him on the shore.
The fishers hoped everything would be fine with the cute fox.
