Meet Pooja Ganatra, this Indian woman who has always been at the center of attention in her country.
Since childhood, the girl boasted as she had an unusual appearance.
Everyone confused her with a Caucasian girl as she looked different.
However, now she is very proud of her appearance, her color, and her intelligence.
Though this 24-year-old woman assures that her parents are both Indian, she has light skin and eye coloring, golden hair, and freckles.
She says, that since her childhood she became a rumored subject for everyone, as people consider her to be ill.
Pooja also mentions that genes play an important role: she believes that she has gained her look from her ancestors.
Generally, atavism is a condition when genes are passive for years and suddenly arise for future generations.
However, she also mentions a good thing: the residents consider her as a local celeb when she speaks Hindi.
As well as people start treating them as a tourist and think she is a traveler.
As Pooja states Indians like to ask to be photoed with non-local people from overseas.
So, as she said, she had so many offers for pictures: “more than 100 times”.
Then, she turned and said, “it’s ok, I am just one of you”.
In addition, the woman said, that she would like to get a DNA test to find out more about her ancestry.
