Michael Harriot shared that Parton has been paying the bill for all the necessities and other expenses for numerous black school musical groups for many years.
As one of the students who graduated about 30 years ago claimed that he played in a marching group being funded by Parton.
Another student shared that while playing at Sevier Country High School, it turned out that the uniforms, equipment, flags, and instruments were all funded by the famous artist.
She added, that Parton should be considered a “national treasure”.
The popular Parton herself attended in a marching band too.
So, one of the reasons that she does such a caring gesture is her devotion to music.
In addition, one person even claimed that one of his friends was a funeral director.
The man told him that Parton had always to pay the bill for the funerals of those who did not have enough money for them.
