When the family was in wild despair. And it was not about the things they lost in the fire – their dog, Chloe, remained in the burning house and could die at any moment.
Luckily, she was rescued by a firefighter who made a makeshift gas mask for the dog and helped her out of the fire.
This could be the end of the story, but Chloe decided to repay her debt.
It all started with the fact that the mother of the family, Christine Marr, returned to the ruins of her house for the first time since the fire, along with Chloe.
As they examined the remains of what had once been their home, the unthinkable happened.
Chloe suddenly began to frantically try to get the attention of her owner. She led her to a deep hole under the floor, which she sniffed diligently.
Christina said that she heard meowing from under the boards. Shining a flashlight into the hole, she saw a cat there.
At first, Christina thought it was a street cat that had snuck into the house under the floor.
But she soon realized that the animal hiding in the small, dark space was their lost cat.
The cat, named Ringer, disappeared without a trace during the fire, from the moment of which 2 months have passed. Everyone thought he died in the fire.
Christina was happy to find Ringer. It’s incredible that for so long, Ringer was able to survive alone in a burned-out house!
