Sometimes it may happen that animals ask us for help. We should remember that they are weaker than us. It’s our responsibility to take care of the animals, and especially when they are desperately in need.
The incident happened in Omsk, Russia. After a downpour, the place where puppies were born to a stray dog was flooded.
The poor mother rushed about, but could not save her children on her own. Then she barked loudly, calling people for help.
A woman passing by approached the sewer pipe where the puppies were but she was afraid to get into it.
By chance, a woman named Olga was nearby, and she volunteered to rescue the puppies. For several years she was engaged in the rescue of homeless animals.
She called for help from a guy passing by. Alexander immediately jumped into the water and climbed into the pipe.
He had to do this several times, diving headlong into the muddy slurry in order to get all the pups out.
Unfortunately, only four out of seven puppies managed to survive. However, they could have died, if not for the brave young man and caring people.
The calmed dog with the rescued puppies was temporarily taken to her house by Olga’s friend.
