This story takes place in South Korea. A local elderly woman took a small dog off the street. Thus, she saved the life of the animal, because in this country she could well be caught and taken for meat in a restaurant.
For several years they lived in perfect harmony. The dog turned out to be an ideal companion and helped her grandmother while away the days. After some time, the woman became seriously ill, and then she was sent to a nursing home.
The woman requires special care, so she will never return home again. The dog does not know this, so for 3 years, she has been looking forward to the return of his beloved owner.
She lives in the abandoned house of the owner and spends her days at the crossroads nearby. There she constantly sits and waits for the elderly woman.
Many residents of Korea learned about the faithful dog, so soon new owners were found for the dog. They asked permission from the owner and then took the animal to their place.
We are so sorry for the woman that won’t ever be able to take care of the furry friend. However, knowing that the dog is given in good hands is good news.
We hope that the dog will easily get used to her new owners!
