A couple from New York lost their beloved cat. The family was very accustomed to the pet that after a couple of months of mourning they decided to adopt a new cat from a shelter.
As soon as the couple crossed the threshold of the shelter, a beautiful white cat ran out to meet them and climbed onto the neck of Stephanie’s boyfriend, began to growl contentedly.
The pair immediately liked the funny animal. Their hearts melted at the sight of him embracing the man with great tenderness. Stephanie was able to quickly capture the memorable moment on her smartphone camera.
The guys decided to name their new cat Oliver. That was the name of their dead animal. Their new friend, unfortunately, had some health problems. They were warned about this at the shelter. But that didn’t stop the couple.
Oliver needed regular care. On the first day of his stay in the new house, Oliver did not leave the saviors anywhere and was afraid of everything. To ease the pet’s stress and be around, the couple specifically took a day off.
But the most interesting thing here is that another cat lived in the house at that time. The animals didn’t get along at first, but then they actually became best friends.
