In February, Wade Schapp and his wife Mandy were returning home from the church they attend every Sunday.
But this particular day presented them with an unexpected and not very pleasant surprise. While the couple was driving on one of the roads outside the city, Wade noticed something strange on the side of the road, which caused him to hit the brakes.
“I saw the dog sitting in the bag and not moving. Then I thought: “How can this be?” Wade said.
Of course, the first thing the couple did was try to free the dog.
“We didn’t have a knife or other sharp object to cut open the bag and get the pup out, so we had to use the car key,” Wade continues.
But they still managed to do it. After that, they wrapped the dog in a warm coat and carried it to the car.
The cute dog was named Buba.
However, Buba was still scared. Several hours passed before he stopped shivering and began to feel at ease along with his rescuers.
The couple decided to adopt the baby. Wade and Mandy already have two dogs, Isabelle and Dixie. And they seem to be making great friends with Buba!
Wade also developed a strong bond with Buba, who goes to the workplace with his temporary owner every day and follows him wherever he goes.
Buba is a strong, energetic and cheerful dog, so Wade believes that he will have no problem getting used to the new family.
