Children and dogs share a special bond. These pets are overprotective towards their little friends.
This time a Yorkie risked her life to save her owner’s daughter from a wild coyote. The heroism of the dog proves once again that our four-legged friends are not just loving and loyal but also protective.
Macy is a six years old tiny Yorkie living with her owner in Scarborough, Toronto. She loves playing with her owner and her daughter.
But once their enjoyment in the backyard of the house turned into horror when a coyote appeared in front of them probably from the woods. The animal was very aggressive and didn’t hesitate to attack the Yorkie and the 10-year-old girl.
The child started running and calling for help. The most surprising and heart-touching in this story is that Macy didn’t run off but started unstopped barking at the coyote.
Even when the coyote bit the small dog, she didn’t stop protecting the girl. When the coyote realized that the Yorkie wasn’t going to give up, it faded away.
In fact, poor Macy received serious injuries on her body and leg. When the owner was informed about the incident, she got worried because of her love for the little pup.
The woman adopted Macy 5 years ago. She tells that besides her two children, Macy is also her daughter.
Thankfully, Macy is doing well in recovering. Agree, this dog is a true fighter!
