Nature loves painting its inhabitants with colorful shades. It is almost always generous even to the tiniest creatures. But still, it’s unknown how nature harmonizes colors. It must be a painter or stylist or both.
Black and yellow broadbill has so unique and sweet appearance that you will think it is a character from cartoon movies. This small bird contains lots of striking features.
The most eye-catching part of its body is the aqua beak. It goes along with a black head, yellow eyes. All of these features make them outstanding.
Plus, they have peach underparts, wings colored in black and yellow. It has a very special plumage, right? This combination makes me believe that nature likes taking risks.
It’s difficult not to pay attention to the little buddies.
Black and yellow broadbills live in Souther Asia – mainly in Thailand and Indonesia. They inhabit in hills and lowland forests. These adorable beings make different sounds and loud whistles.
The nests of these creatures consist of leaves, skeletons, moss and roots. Being built on the trees, these nests look like peaches or purses.
Sadly, the species now is listed as endangered because of loss of their habitat. We hope, that specialists will be able to stabilize the population of black and yellow broadbills.
