Animal advocate buys billboard to help the dog find a home after two years in a shelter

Every time animals are rescued they are taken to shelters. And one of the greatest difficulties of shelters is having the animals adopted.

The rescue centers prepare various posts, blogs and advertisements to find the best forever owners for the pets.

It also happens, that rescued pets stay at shelters for a long time without being noticed by adopters.

Yet, Scott Poore from Mission, Kansas did something unusual in order to find a forever home for a dog named Sally Sue.

The cute doggie lives in a shelter for almost 2 years. When Scott found out about Sally Sue, he immediately made a big step. The man bought an expensive billboard advertisement for the dog.

It is 30 feet above the I-35 and has this note on it: “Will you adopt me?” On the huge billboard, you can see the 11 years old adorable pit bull mix that is waiting for her owners!
