A little girl was reported missing after she wandered too far from her home in Queensland, Australia during a game. Realizing what had happened, her grandmother immediately called the police, who soon began searching.
In addition to Aurora’s family members and police officers, 100 volunteers took part in the search. Despite this, no trace of the missing child had been found by Saturday afternoon.
Then something incredible happened. Max ran up to Aurora’s grandmother.
According to Fox News, the woman said: “I was climbing the mountain… and when I got to the top, a dog came up to me, who then led me straight to Aurora.”
As it turned out later, Max found the girl more than three kilometers from her home. At night, he did not leave the child a single step, and the next morning he came to the people to report her whereabouts.
In total, the child spent 15 hours away from home, but, fortunately, she was completely unharmed when she was found. After that, Max was awarded by the police for the heroic efforts shown during the search operation.
If Max had not found and stayed with Aurora, her search could have continued for a long time before she would have been discovered.
