Not every person is responsible to take care of stray dogs. There are some people who don’t properly care for their own pets.
But in this case, our hero – 9 years old boy Ken Amante from the Philippines doesn’t save his pocket money from feeding street dogs. While other children buy sweets, Ken prefers to make the stray dogs move their tails from joy!
The boy didn’t tell his parents about his kind work. But one day his dad noticed that Ken is going to school with a back full of food. He followed the boy and saw how kindhearted Ken is surrounded by stray dogs eating the food their friend brought for them.
It was a very heart-melting moment for Ken’s father. He was proud of his son. Soon the man took a photo of the impressive sight and shared it on Reddit.
“My son has been feeding stray dogs in the neighborhood for about two weeks now,” the man wrote. “Today I tagged along.”
It didn’t take much time until the post got many reactions. Ken became famous for his kindness and received lots of support all over the world.
Many people made donations, making Ken’s dream come true! He opened an animal shelter. Hundreds of dogs found a place where they could be safe.
This story started in 2014 and by now the boy named Ken has been faithfully doing the selfless work!
