Husband and wife Yuri and Svetlana Panteleevs have been sharing their house with a real bear Stephen for 28 years. Stephen at one time was left an orphan because of the hunters who killed his mother.
And the Panteleev family bought him out of a zoo, where he ended up at a very young age.
The bear cub was not at all adapted to life together with people, but the married couple helped him adapt to the new life, get stronger and come to life.
The Panteleevs prudently fenced themselves off from the neighbors with a tall and strong fence, and the only thing that could disturb them is the loud roar of the beast.
Stephen often appears in films and TV series – he showed a remarkable acting talent. In addition, Stephen is a frequent participant in photoshoots and performs at corporate parties with numbers.
It works great for the camera, and thus fully fulfills its expensive maintenance – after all, the bear’s diet includes meat, fish, vegetables and fruits.
And his performance alone costs at least 20,000 rubles which do not prevent Panteleevs from constantly receiving offers of cooperation.
Stephen is loyal to the household. True, like a dog, he loves to beg for goodies – unless he wags his tail; it is very short in the bear. He loves to eat, but he works out food and other things in full!
